Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement test techniques that are effective and efficient in meeting organizational goals for product quality, timeliness, and regulatory compliance
  • Work with development teams, stakeholders to ensure testability of product definition
  • Plan test development and execution with effort estimation
  • Analyze requirements and user needs and create test script
  • Identify and implement tooling, frameworks, and dashboards for automated testing as needed
  • Craft Manual and Automated tests and test plans to ensure proper test coverage
  • Perform exploratory test with user interface to ensure proper test coverage beyond scripted tests
  • Use effective methods / practices that embrace the full software lifecycle
  • Extend/improve current automated test suite
  • Define and implement informal and formal V&V, identify defects, triage issues, help determine root cause, track issues to completion, and craft test reports
  • Creation of Test plan, Test suite, Test case, Test Protocol, Test Report aligned with process requirement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent with 13+ years of proven experience as a Software system Test and Verification Engineer in a product development environment
  • Proven success in bringing customer facing products to market
  • Strong experience with Test Planning, Test Case Creation, Test execution, Test Result Reporting & Documentation
  • Experience with Requirement Analysis and Customer Needs Analysis for Test script creation
  • Strong familiarity with different type of testing, test configuration management and issue tracking
  • Strong approaches with Exploratory testing and bug reporting
  • Experience with Python, Java Script desired
  • Experience with Robot, Pytest, Selenium, Cucumber, JEST and TestCafe desired
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server
  • Knowledge of web, API, or system testing

Nice to have

  • Medical Device or other regulated industry test experience a strong plus
  • Behavior Driven Development and/or Test-Driven Development experience is preferred
  • Experience with C, C++, or LabView preferred

  • Directly responsible for implementing the test plans and authoring test procedures for WebApp frontend, Middleware and Back-end components including external interface testing
  • Implement Test Automation plans along with Test team, by applying techniques such as BDD, TDD and develop modular test suites, test data, reusable test scripts/libraries using state-of-the-art frameworks tools & technologies
