Job Description:

An award-winning Construction Consultancy is seeking an experienced Principal Designer to join its expanding Birmingham team. This is a chance to become part of a forward-thinking practice where you'll take ownership of exciting, high-profile projects across the commercial, residential, and public sectors.

Job Responsibility:

Take ownership of exciting, high-profile projects across commercial, residential, and public sectors
Be the driving force behind design safety
Work closely with architects, clients, and contractors to identify risks early
Provide expert advice and shape safer, more efficient design solutions

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Principal Designer within a consultancy environment
Strong working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and design risk management
NEBOSH, TechIOSH, IMaPS or similar qualification preferred
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ambition to grow, lead, and take on new responsibility
