Job Description:

A market-leading national construction consultancy is seeking a Principal Designer with 5+ years’ experience. This role offers extensive progression, working on projects worth up to £50M in a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities include full CDM duties, collaboration with internal and external consultants, and independently managing tasks.

Job Responsibility:

Work on a mix of internal and external projects
Undertake full CDM duties including pre-construction information, construction phase plan reviews, health and safety file coordination, and CDM advisor site visits
Collaborate with internal design teams and external consultants
Manage duties independently

Requirements:

A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar Principal Designer or CDM-focused role
A background in construction site safety or a health and safety role with a strong construction bias
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent), IMaPS / CMaPS or similar
Confidence in producing, reviewing and advising on CDM documentation

What we offer:

£55,000 – £65,000 DOE
