Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join a well-established architectural practice based in Cheshire, specialising in delivering high-quality building projects. This role is ideal for someone with a background in Building Design, Project Management, Building Control, Clerk of Works, or any other Health and Safety-focused role within the construction industry.

Job Responsibility:

Provide expertise and guidance to project teams in line with health and safety regulations
Develop and maintain quality assurance systems to track actions and ensure compliance
Monitor and influence design processes to align with legislative requirements
Deliver CPD training on health and safety matters

Requirements:

Proven experience in a role such as Design, Project Management, Building Control, Clerk of Works, or a related Health and Safety position in construction
Familiarity with the Building Safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislation 2023, including HRBs and the Gateway process
Strong interest in health and safety issues and risk management
Attention to detail with a systematic and methodical approach
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with design and project teams
High ethical standards and a commitment to ensuring regulatory compliance
