Job Description:

A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking for an experienced BSA Principal Designer to join their dynamic and growing team in Northamptonshire. This forward-thinking firm specialises in providing expert architectural, building control, and CDM advisory services to high-profile clients across London, the Midlands, and the Home Counties.

Job Responsibility:

Providing expert BSA Principal Designer services, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
Preparing and reviewing CDM documentation, risk assessments, and compliance reports
Collaborating with clients, designers, and contractors to integrate safety measures from project inception
Conducting site visits, design reviews, and technical assessments
Supporting the development of BIM processes within the company

Requirements:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building Surveying, or Construction Management
Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RIBA, CIAT, CIOB, or APS)
Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act and CDM regulations
Experience in design risk management and compliance
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise confidently with clients and project teams
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software is desirable

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software
