Senior Building Regulations Principal Designer role leading coordination of design and compliance for high-profile UK construction projects with opportunity for progression to partnership

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the coordination of design and compliance in line with the Building Safety Act (2022)
  • Act as the key Principal Designer
  • Provide strategic advice
  • Ensure compliance is integrated from the outset

Requirements

  • RIBA-accredited with demonstrable experience as a Principal Designer under the Building Safety Act
  • Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and design coordination
  • Experience working with high-risk buildings
  • Ambitious and commercially aware, with the drive to step into leadership
  • Confident in building relationships with clients, contractors, and design teams
  • Collaborative and people-focused, with excellent communication skills
