Senior Building Regulations Principal Designer role leading coordination of design and compliance for high-profile UK construction projects with opportunity for progression to leadership positions

Job Responsibility:

Lead the coordination of design and compliance in line with the Building Safety Act (2022)
Act as the key Principal Designer
Provide strategic advice
Ensure compliance is integrated from the outset
Guide multi-disciplinary teams to deliver safer, more efficient projects
Drive smarter design decisions
Build lasting client relationships

Requirements:

RIBA accredited with demonstratable experience as a Principal Designer under the Building Safety Act
Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and design coordination
Experience working with high-risk buildings
Ambitious and commercially aware, with the drive to step into leadership
Confident in building relationships with clients, contractors, and design teams
Collaborative and people-focused, with excellent communication skills
