Job Description:

As a Principal Designer, you will be responsible for delivering the consultancy’s services across a variety of projects, including housing, education, and commercial developments. This role involves managing multiple projects, identifying hazards typical to construction, ensuring Health and Safety throughout the project lifecycle, and collaborating effectively within teams. Job Responsibility:

Delivering the consultancy’s services across a variety of projects, including housing, education, and commercial developments
Managing multiple projects
Identifying and addressing key hazards typical to construction
Ensuring Health and Safety issues are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle
Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders

Requirements:

Health and Safety professional membership (e.g. APS or IOSH)
Degree (or equivalent) in a construction-related subject
Ideally a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in CDM/Principal Designer roles
Thorough knowledge of CDM2015
Experience in construction projects
Experience working in a construction consultancy environment
Previous experience delivering on a variety of build sector projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
