Step into a senior, highly influential role focused on the delivery and evolution of GBST’s wealth administration and tax platforms, implemented in the UK and Australian markets. Play a key role in shaping how technology and platform changes are designed, delivered, and adopted across large‑scale client implementations. Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Delivery leaders across UK and APAC, providing clarity, structure, and quality across multi‑squad delivery. Influence platform outcomes and client confidence through strong design governance, delivery readiness, and documentation quality. This role sits within Technology, leading Business Analysts and Product Owners who support delivery execution, working in close partnership with Product Management.
Job Responsibility:
Lead business analysis and solution design activities within Technology delivery, across client projects and platform enhancements
Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive roadmaps for technology delivery initiatives, ensuring alignment, visibility, and predictable delivery
Review Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), secure client sign‑off, and create high‑quality user stories well ahead of delivery and release milestones
Lead and support Technology Product Owners to shape delivery backlogs, clarify scope, and prioritise demand in alignment with agreed product strategy
Provide functional leadership to Business Analysts and Product Owners within Technology, setting standards for delivery readiness, quality, and execution
Engage Engineering teams early to ensure solutions are feasible, well‑designed, and aligned to platform standards
Collaborate with Project Managers and Scrum Masters to ensure accurate sizing, strong sprint readiness, and smooth delivery throughput
Ensure delivery decisions align with defined product strategy and architectural direction, without owning product vision or commercial prioritisation
Facilitate workshops, clarification sessions, and decision forums with internal and client stakeholders
Contribute to test planning and coverage, ensuring realistic business scenarios and appropriate non‑functional requirements are considered
Support internal and external demonstrations of new functionality, as well as select pre‑sales activities
Requirements:
Strong experience working with financial services products, platforms, and delivery environments
Proven background in technology‑led business analysis and delivery‑focused solution design within large‑scale SaaS platforms
Experience owning the full requirements lifecycle, from BRDs and client sign‑off through to user stories and delivery readiness
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to resolve ambiguity and drive decisions
A collaborative, delivery‑focused mindset, with the ability to work closely with Product, Engineering, and Delivery roles
Comfort operating across time zones and supporting UK‑centric delivery from an Australian base
A passion for quality, maintainable solutions and for lifting capability across teams
