Job Description

Join Vysus Group as a Principal Consultant in Risk Management. We are looking for experienced Principal Consultants to join our Risk Management Consulting teams based in Oslo, Trondheim, and Bergen. Our team partners with owners and operators of high-risk, capital-intensive assets, helping them navigate complexity, mitigate risks, and optimise asset performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) for both onshore and offshore industries
  • Providing expertise in Process Safety
  • Serving as HAZOP/HAZID Lead
  • Contributing to Fire Safety and Structural Integrity evaluations
  • Conducting Consequence Modelling (using CFD or empirical tools)
  • Supporting Emergency Preparedness initiatives for client projects

Requirements

  • Master's degree in engineering or related field (e.g., Physics, Chemical Engineering, Process/Risk Management)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in consulting, engineering, or operational roles
  • Proven expertise within the oil & gas and energy sectors
  • Strong teamwork skills with ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of risk management practices, regulatory requirements, and relevant standards (including Ptil and DSB)
  • Fluency in English
