Wells Fargo's Specialized Industries - Healthcare team is seeking a Principal Commercial Banking Relationship Manager.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop, retain, and grow highly complex client relationships, by understanding the needs and priorities of clients
  • Advise Healthcare industry clients on financing alternatives and industry-specific solutions, coordinating with internal stakeholders including Investment Banking and Treasury Management
  • Lead the strategy and execution for full suite of solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients, leveraging a solid understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions
  • Collaborate with peers and colleagues to resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectives, escalate client inquiries when needed, provide leadership to improve processes and risk control, act as a mentor for less experienced colleagues
  • may additionally lead projects within team or across Commercial Banking line of business
  • Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions provided by Wells Fargo and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systems
  • Strategically lead and support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Healthcare Commercial Banking clients
  • This job will involve an active prospecting effort, as well as input in developing Credit based solutions, identifying and prosecuting Treasury opportunities, and participating in credit approval process

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Working knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • General understanding of Capital Markets, including the ability to identify opportunities for referrals to Investment Banking and Private Credit / Direct Lending partners
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 63 and Series 79 exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
  • Experience working with partners to coordinate cross-sell opportunities across Wells Fargo’s suite of credit and non-credit products and services
  • Ability to forge relationships with members of C-suite
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position
  • In addition, state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply
  • Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • Obtaining FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses, or equivalent must be completed within 180-days of date of hire if not immediately available to transfer upon hire
  • For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required
  • This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check
  • Internal transfers are subject to compliance with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification
  • Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
