Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Commercial Auto Relationship Manager for Specialized Industries in Commercial Auto as part of the Commercial Bank. This role will support Texas and Oklahoma. The role involves developing and retaining client relationships, leading complex financial solutions, and providing strategic leadership in commercial banking.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, retain, and grow highly complex client relationships through the art of relationship management
  • Act as a top subject matter expert to lead highly complex and substantial cash flow, real estate loans, and certain other industry specific solutions
  • Lead the strategy and resolution for full suite of most complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients
  • Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding Commercial Banking Relationship Management company wide strategies
  • Strategically lead all levels of professional and managers across the enterprise to improve processes and risk control
  • Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines
  • Strategically lead and support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide vision, leadership, and expertise on client and market needs

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services
  • 3+ years working with retail franchise automotive dealerships to provide lending solutions, inventory financing, and floor plan financing
  • Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships
  • Proven ability to build effective partnerships, such as Treasury Management, WIM, and Indirect Retail
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 63 and 79 exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
  • Completion of formal credit training program
  • Commercial banking account relationship management experience within the Emerging Middle Market / Middle Market segment
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
