Job Description:

A forward-thinking Building Consultancy renowned for delivering excellence in Commercial Surveying and Technical Due Diligence seeks an experienced Principal Chartered Building Surveyor to lead key instructions and mentor junior professionals while contributing to team development.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the delivery of a varied workload focused primarily on commercial building surveying
Execute Technical Due Diligence (TDD)
Perform pre-acquisition surveys
Manage dilapidations
Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance
Oversee project monitoring and condition surveys
Work closely with clients to understand their commercial drivers and provide clear, concise, and commercially minded reporting
Support the growth of the service line
Contribute to internal development initiatives
Mentor junior colleagues

Requirements:

Degree qualified in Building Surveying or related discipline
MRICS Chartered – minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
Proven track record delivering professional services within the commercial property market
Strong commercial acumen and client-facing confidence
Ability to manage multiple commissions across different stages
Committed to mentoring and developing junior colleagues
A collaborative and proactive approach to delivering work
Excellent written and verbal communication
