Job Description

Lead the finance partnership with the North America Global Markets team. Partner with world-class teams on growth, planning, and strategy on a day-to-day basis. Lead through performance measurement and transform learnings into actionable insights to spur growth in North America.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with the business in driving performance management, including development and ongoing analysis of KPIs, creating goals/OKRs, and measuring performance
  • Develop a deep understanding of which levers drive growth and efficiency for our business and translate that understanding into tangible improvements
  • Support strategy discussions on allocation of resources across the region and different functions
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analytical frameworks to support our key processes and decision-making cadences such as annual strategic planning and long-range planning
  • Partner in the development of rigorous business plans and go-to-market strategy
  • Identify step-change opportunities by partnering with operating teams to identify areas of outsized impact through quantitative analysis, industry benchmarks, and competitive research
  • Be the subject matter expert on key trends and market dynamics for the North America business
  • Conduct deep dives into business trends across the United States and Canada and different segments of the business
  • Build ad hoc reporting to help business operations and other cross functional partners understand the drivers of performance for key performance indicators

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in an analytical role such as strategic finance, strategy/management consulting, investment banking, financial planning and analytics, banking or private equity
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, accounting, engineering, statistics or other relevant field that demonstrates quantitative orientation
  • MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Superb financial modeling skills and extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL or some other querying language
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work and influence cross-functionally
  • Relationship builder with the ability to work collaboratively across the company and with people at all levels
  • Strong analytical abilities and able to synthesize complex information
  • Comfortable with financial modeling in Excel
  • Possesses grit and finds creative ways to get the job done
  • High energy and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast paced environment while balancing multiple projects

Experience in marketplace and/or travel and hospitality metrics is a plus
