Job Description:

A global multi-disciplinary consultancy is recruiting for a Principal Level Chartered Building Surveyor to join its London-based L&I Technical Due Diligence & Commercial Building Surveying team. The role involves working on commercial building projects, mentoring junior surveyors, and providing professional services such as condition surveys and project management.

Job Responsibility:

Providing professional and technical advisory services such as Technical Due Diligence, condition surveys, LTAs, and PPM schedules
Contributing to service improvement initiatives
Managing financial performance
Leading and mentoring junior colleagues
Supporting the growth of the commercial building surveying offering

Requirements:

Degree in Building Surveying (or related field) and MRICS qualified (minimum 3 years PQE)
Proven multi-discipline experience within commercial building surveying/consultancy
Strong client-facing skills with the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
Commercial awareness and financial acumen, able to manage budgets and profitability
Ability to lead and mentor junior colleagues
Strong organisational skills, able to balance multiple instructions simultaneously
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and flexibility
