Job Description

A global multi-disciplinary consultancy is recruiting for a Principal Level Chartered Building Surveyor to join its London-based L&I Technical Due Diligence & Commercial Building Surveying team. The role involves working on commercial building projects, mentoring junior surveyors, and providing professional services such as condition surveys and project management.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing professional and technical advisory services such as Technical Due Diligence, condition surveys, LTAs, and PPM schedules
  • Contributing to service improvement initiatives
  • Managing financial performance
  • Leading and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Supporting the growth of the commercial building surveying offering

Requirements

  • Degree in Building Surveying (or related field) and MRICS qualified (minimum 3 years PQE)
  • Proven multi-discipline experience within commercial building surveying/consultancy
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
  • Commercial awareness and financial acumen, able to manage budgets and profitability
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior colleagues
  • Strong organisational skills, able to balance multiple instructions simultaneously
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and flexibility
