Job Description

Cundall are looking for an experienced Building Management System (BMS) design engineer that has experience with either Process Logic Controllers (PLC) and Supervisory Controls And Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems or Direct Digital Controllers (DDC) and BMS Supervisory systems. Experience in the data centre sector and understanding of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) is preferred. An excellent knowledge of the control of mechanical plant and systems and the monitoring of electrical equipment is a must. As a BMS design engineer you will collaborate closely with clients and design team (architect, civil, electrical, IT, mechanical, public health, structural engineers, etc.) to create innovative designs, make changes, comment on submittals, witness software bench tests, witness factory witness tests, review, and comment on the installation and witness the completed installation. In addition, you will work in the Building Automation team (currently 20 team members globally) and advise on and develop technical standards, details and specifications relating to controls and provide advice on appropriate control strategies. Some of our projects are outside the UK, potential weeklong trips to project sites occur approximately four to six times per year, offering exciting opportunities to be directly involved on-site and see your work in action.

Requirements
