Job Description:

Are you an experienced Principal Biochemist looking for a high-level locum opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a Band 8 Biochemist to join the forward-thinking Pathology Department at a leading NHS trust in Sunderland. This is a fantastic chance to apply your advanced biochemistry knowledge while working in a flexible and supportive environment.

Job Responsibility:

Authorising results across the full biochemistry repertoire
Providing expert clinical and technical guidance to lab staff and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

HCPC registration as a Principal Biochemist or Biomedical Scientist
FRCPath Part 1 and Module 2 Part 1 passed
Proven ability to independently authorise results across the full biochemistry repertoire
Skilled in providing expert clinical and technical guidance to both lab staff and healthcare professionals
Minimum of 32.5 working hours per week
