Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated accountant to join the Controllers Group as a Principal Accounting Associate with a focus on accounting, reporting, and analytics as well as participation in special projects. You will be a self-starter responsible for managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast paced, time sensitive environment. The Controllers Group supports the financial implementation of new products, services, and systems with countless opportunities for growth and development. This role will have the opportunity to engage with groups across the organization as part of variance analysis, financial statement risk identification, and issue resolution.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and review accounting-related activities, such as journal entries and reconciliations, and support and prepare external SEC and regulatory reports, including documentation and presentation of results to management and senior leadership
  • Ensure accounting and reporting practices and documentation are performed in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
  • Perform periodic analysis and reporting of financial performance for stakeholders and management within necessary deadlines
  • Respond to requests from other departments and perform research
  • Participate in key corporate projects such as technology and data transformation, process improvement, and business initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues and stay connected on process or product changes
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to management
  • Provide support for audit, risk and compliance groups when necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in Accounting, or External Financial Reporting, or Audit, or Finance, or a combination
  • At least 3 years of experience with Google Office, or Microsoft Office products, or a combination

Nice to have:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, or external financial reporting, or audit or Finance, or a combination
  • 2+ years of experience in Tableau, or Python, or SQL, or a combination
