Job Description

My client, a leading global law firm, is seeking an experienced Construction Disputes Lawyer to join their highly respected Birmingham team at Principal Associate level. This role involves advising prominent clients on significant infrastructure and energy projects, with a focus on contentious construction and dispute resolution, and offers a clear path toward partnership.

Job Responsibility

  • Advising major national and international clients – including governments, public bodies, and multinational contractors – on large-scale infrastructure and energy projects
  • Providing strategic advice through to full-blown adjudication, litigation, and arbitration
  • Managing matters and mentoring junior lawyers

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ PQE in contentious construction (or a strong mix of contentious and non-contentious)
  • Deep technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • A confident leader, capable of managing matters and mentoring junior lawyers
  • Someone driven to contribute to business development and long-term team strategy
