Job Responsibility
Partner with Creative Directors and Project Managers to define intent, brief teams, and deliver marketing that cuts through the noise
Be a creative leader amongst your team of Art Directors, Graphic Designers, and Copywriters (including a mix of full-time associates, contractors, and agencies)
Lead and execute creative development in support of Capital One's credit card business across Performance Marketing channels, including social media platforms, video, click-based outbound and SEM
Give clear direction and effective feedback around project intent, concepts, design, copy and motion
Collaborate with marketing strategists and internal business clients to positively influence marketing strategy and the customer experience
Use evidence and data to ground your creative decisions
Demonstrate expert knowledge of digital marketing channels, social media advertising and marketing trends and translate business intent into creative strategies and executions that market products effectively
Present and influence with a convincing and inspiring style to increase buy-in and open the door for new opportunities - both for your team and department
Mentor and build expertise in your craft, whether copywriting or art direction with your peers, and team members
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
At least 3 years of multi-channel digital marketing experience on client-side or agency
Nice to have
Bachelor's degree or military experience
At least 3 years of experience leading creative teams or bodies of work across cross-functional creative teams
At least 5 years of experience in copywriting or art direction
Experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated industry
Experience working with a Fortune 100 brand
Experience leading work through agency resources as primary creative point of contact
Experience in Performance Marketing testing structures across digital, video and social media channels
