In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in optimizing, automating, and scaling our cloud and global data center networks. Based in our Sydney HQ, you will be a key member of a dynamic team of engineers, responsible for designing and managing all of our internal and customer-facing infrastructure and technology systems. Your deep technical expertise in Cloud Architecture, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Networking will empower you to develop highly innovative, large-scale solutions that ensure the resilience, security, and scalability of our software and infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with a global network of technology experts and engage directly with senior business leaders and C-suite executives to align our architectural vision with strategic business goals. Job Responsibility:

  • Architect and Implement Large-Scale Solutions: Design and deploy scalable, resilient, and secure cloud and on-prem architectures across multiple platforms to support our global operations
  • Optimize Network Performance and Automation: Spearhead initiatives to enhance network performance, automate infrastructure management, and drive efficiencies in our data centers and cloud environments using modern tools and technologies
  • Drive Enterprise-Wide Technology Strategy: Lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and leveraging the latest advancements in cloud, data center, and automation technologies
  • Lead Innovation and Collaboration: Mentor and guide cross-functional teams of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, while engaging with senior stakeholders to communicate architectural strategies and drive technology adoption

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, cloud engineering, and network management, with a demonstrated ability to lead at scale in a complex, global environment
  • A proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise-scale architectures, with deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data center technologies
  • Extensive experience with automation tools and scripting languages, as well as a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Expert-level knowledge of network engineering, including WAN/LAN architecture, SDN, VPNs, firewalls and security protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation projects, collaborating with diverse teams and engaging with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives
