Principal Architect

• Lead the implementation of complex projects and initiatives that have companywide scope
• Assist in the creation of architectural artifacts for key technology initiatives
• Participate in the definition of future technology architecture and strategy
• Identify medium to high architectural impact projects
• Conduct complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions
• Communicate the companywide Architecture strategy and direction to both management and systems related teams
• Make decisions in the development and maintenance of solution architecture
• Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas
• Ensure applications adhere to established Wells Fargo standards, policies, methodologies and industry best practices
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Proficient in multi-tenant platforms and abstraction frameworks that accelerate the delivery of business functionality to end users and process automation
• Drive efforts to ensure resiliency, fault tolerance, and performance of Fraud Operations Technology

• 7+ years of Systems Architecture experience
• 5+ years of experience creating strategy, architectural design and planning experience for enterprise grade products or a large portfolio
• 2+ years of architecting rules-based BPM solutions and/or designing and deploying scalable AI solutions relying on predictive or generative models
• Strong executive presence, facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality and detail, and a synergetic attitude
• Ability to develop and deliver effective, well-articulated, written, and oral communications
• Excellent communications, interpersonal, and presentations skills across technical and non-technical groups
• Knowledge and expertise of fraud management tools and techniques
• Experience in systems, applications, or architecture planning
• Knowledge and understanding of applications technology management role including managing applications development and support for multiple systems and business functions
• Experience with a customer service mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
• Experience consulting, influencing and partnering with business executives, leadership, and product management teams
• Financial services industry experience
• Experience with OpenShift Container Platform or other cloud computing technologies
• Experience with Gen AI, business rules/decision support engines, BPM solutions, case management, open-source data processing frameworks, threat intelligence platforms, real-time analytics, data lakehouses or meshes
• Extensive technical skills and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of an entire line of business or infrastructure sub-domain
• Experience motivating and influencing groups or individuals across organizational boundaries
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on proactive solutions
• Experience with Agile transformations
• Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Change Management procedures and tools
