We're looking for a Principal Architect – Workplace Technology Experience & Enterprise Service Management (WTE & ESM) to provide domain-level architecture leadership across Australia Post's workplace technology landscape, shaping how employees securely access devices, collaboration tools, productivity platforms and IT services. Reporting to the Head of Engineering & Technology Architecture, you'll bridge strategy and delivery, owning the roadmap, standards and reference architectures across workplace and ServiceNow-based ESM domains, while driving alignment to the Post30 strategy and accelerating value for every team through modern, scalable and future-ready technology experiences.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and maintain the WTE and ESM architecture roadmaps, ensuring alignment with E&TA strategy and the endorsed WTE Strategy
  • Lead the Microsoft 365 architecture strategy, including Copilot adoption, licensing optimisation, data lifecycle management, and productivity platform evolution
  • Own the Enterprise Service Management architecture anchored on ServiceNow, driving platform evolution aligned to the vendor roadmap
  • Define and govern workplace technology standards, reference architectures, and patterns across end-user computing, device management (Intune, Workspace One), collaboration (Teams/Viva), print services, telephony, and retail/field technology
  • Evaluate and provide architectural recommendations on emerging workplace technologies, vendor consolidation opportunities, and strategic procurement decisions

Requirements

  • Deep experience across workplace technology, end-user computing, collaboration platforms and IT service management in complex, large-scale environments
  • Proven track record as a principal or lead architect, owning technology roadmaps, reference architectures and standards across modern workplace domains, including Microsoft 365 and ITSM platforms
  • Equally comfortable operating at a senior stakeholder level as guiding solution architects and teams, combining strong people leadership with hands-on technical credibility
  • Deep expertise across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, ServiceNow and evolving workplace trends, from zero-trust security to AI-assisted support
