Job Description:

Citi is a world-leading global bank providing a broad range of financial products and services. They are hiring a Prime Finance Business Analyst to focus on mandatory deliverables for Trading Technology. The role involves facilitating the implementation of requirements, offering in-depth analysis, managing risks, and collaborating with stakeholders. Responsibilities include compliance with PM procedures, milestone planning, and risk assessment. The job is full-time and based onsite in London.

Job Responsibility:

Facilitate the implementation of requirements for mandatory initiatives impacting Trading
Offer in-depth and insightful analysis, employing interpretive thought to pinpoint issues, devise creative resolutions, and guide strategic functional choices
Contribute expertise throughout the development and implementation stages
Define the scope and objectives of systems
Identify essential system enhancements for high-impact projects
Identify risks/issues and propose mitigation options
Engage with business stakeholders to ascertain functional specifications for systems
Collaborate with various management teams and other departments to achieve organizational goals
Assess emerging IT advancements and changing business needs
Propose suitable system alternatives or improvements to existing systems
Guarantee compliance with PM standard procedures
Develop and refine detailed milestone plans for critical deliverables
Execute against multiple contending priorities
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
Apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices

Requirements:

10+ years of industry experience specifically in Prime Finance
Strong understanding of SFT Lifecycle, Settlements, Funding, Collateral Management, Locates and Client Pricing
Working with industry bodies, including active participation with market utility functions for Equity or Fixed Income Financing
Proven ability to model intricate business rules and evaluate their impact on outcomes
Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence for workflow management, collaboration, and documentation
Ability to perform effectively and maintain composure in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
Flexibility to work seamlessly with a geographically dispersed team across multiple time zones
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capacity for strategic thinking to address complex challenges
Practical experience working within an Agile delivery framework
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of effectively managing senior stakeholder expectations in trading
