Prime Application Support Technical Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who applies in-depth knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex issues with substantial impact, where taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals

Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of apps support
Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact application enhancements and problem resolution through in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems and industry standards, documents requirements
Partners with multiple technology (including Development and Infrastructure) teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals
Works closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to determine and document systems impacts and support requirements
Identifies risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues

Requirements:
8+ years of experience in an application support role within the financial industry
A minimum of 3 years of trading floor support experience for Prime, Equities, or a similar business
Proficient with Linux/Unix and SQL
Experience with messaging technologies such as Solace, Kafka, or Tibco is preferred
Strong practical problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship-building skills
A service-oriented attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s/University degree
