Job Description

The Account Manager within Equities Prime Services is responsible for ensuring both client satisfaction (through service & experience) and revenue generation. This role will fully understand the strategies executed by their clients and the revenue opportunity for Citi, whilst looking to leverage the relationship to enhance the footprint of Citi with the client and materialize cross-sell opportunities between Futures, Options and OTC clearing and FX Prime Brokerage as well as Equities Prime brokerage and Electronic Execution business. This role is based in Singapore, and will be responsible for managing clients across Asia who are trading and clearing on all global exchanges.

Job Responsibility

  • Know Your Client – Structure, Strategies, and Service needs
  • Accountable for client profitability
  • revenue growth and ensure adherence with Service Level Agreements
  • Accountable for day-to-day service and client satisfaction, including risk management and timely escalation
  • Perform regular client reviews to determine overall client satisfaction and coordinate the response to client concerns
  • Drive continuous enhancement of Citi products and services across Futures and Prime Franchise
  • Understanding the client wallet, driving organic growth and the identification and execution of cross sell opportunities including Equities Prime brokerage and Electronic Execution business
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure for Futures Clearing Product
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
  • Manage overall liquidity of the business e.g., effective margin management across CCPs, manage investments and reduce overall business borrowing needs
  • Driving all aspects of interest income and associated costs including detailed understanding of balance sheet, RWA, Capital, GSIB and reducing working capital costs
  • Represent Citi in various engagements with external stakeholders including: CCPs, trade organizations, exchanges, and vendors

Requirements

  • Around 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in one or more of Futures, OTC Clearing and FXPB
  • A good cross product knowledge covering, equities, fixed income, FX, Derivatives, Electronic Trading and Swaps
  • A strong understanding of the regulatory, risk and control environment impacting the business
  • A good understanding of global markets, including Market Regulations, Investment Limitations and Operational/Settlement Procedures
  • A knowledge with IT infrastructure supporting financing products
  • Proven analytical and organization skills
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • The ability to multitask and constantly assess and change priorities
  • Willingness and motivation to maintain a steep learning curve

  • Obtain renewal terms for customers and research suitable alternatives to produce presentations
