Job Responsibility:
Support the Class Teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and ensuring no child is left behind
Work across the whole class, leading small groups in phonics, reading, or maths to boost confidence and attainment
Lead breakout sessions to support pupils who need an extra boost in core subjects like English and Maths
Assist the teacher in preparing resources, creating displays, and managing classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning atmosphere
Assist with the social and emotional development of students, helping them build resilience and teamwork skills
Work closely with the Class Teacher to track pupil progress and ensure a safe, inclusive, and high-energy learning environment
Requirements:
Proactive & energetic
Relevant experience from a school, youth club, coaching, or any setting where you have mentored or led young people
Academically confident with a strong grasp of the primary curriculum
Committed, holding an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply) and 100% dedicated to Safeguarding and child welfare
