Job Description:

An ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in Southwark is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team for a long-term, full-time role starting in September 2025. Responsibilities include supporting students with SEND/SEMH needs, working 1:1 or in small groups, and assisting class teachers with lessons and academic targets.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting students with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
working with children aged 4-11 years in and out of the classroom
helping class teachers deliver lesson material
focusing on Phonics and Reading

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children
previous experience working with SEND/SEMH needs
a desire to work with children of all ages and abilities
motivated and confident attitude
