Job Description:

A welcoming primary school in Horley is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide personalised support to children with Autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a child's education while working in a supportive school environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide one-to-one support to a child, helping them stay engaged and reach their learning goals
  • Work closely with the class teacher to create a positive and structured learning space
  • Identify and manage triggers, implementing strategies to support the child's emotional and educational development
  • Foster confidence, independence, and positive behaviours in the classroom

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with additional needs, particularly Autism and ADHD
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques
  • A valid DBS or willingness to apply (we can assist)
