Job Description:

Justteachers is recruiting a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Kettering. This full-time role begins April 2026 and runs until December 2026, with the possibility of extension. You will support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping them develop confidence in their learning.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the class teacher with daily learning activities
  • Support small group learning in literacy and numeracy
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
  • Provide one-to-one support for pupils when required
  • Help prepare classroom resources and displays

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in schools or childcare settings
  • Positive, flexible, and supportive approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Two professional references from the last two years
  • Legal right to work in the UK
