Job Description:

Randstad is currently looking for a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join our partner schools in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding villages. In this full-time position, you'll play a key role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth, working closely with teachers to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment. At Randstad, you will have a dedicated consultant who will provide ongoing support and guidance throughout your journey. Job Responsibility:

Supporting the teacher in delivering lessons and managing the classroom environment
Providing one-to-one support to students, addressing their individual learning needs
Assisting with small group activities, ensuring students are engaged and participating
Supporting students with their social and emotional development
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential
Engaging and interactive teaching style
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum
Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not an option)
