Job Responsibility

Focused Learning Interventions: Conduct impactful 1:1 or small-group sessions, offering targeted support in reading, writing, maths, and phonics to bridge learning gaps
Classroom Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the Class Teacher to arrange teaching materials, curate learning displays, and run a structured, uplifting classroom
Special Educational Needs Advocacy: Provide patient, tailored guidance to pupils with additional learning needs (including Autism, ADHD, or speech difficulties), helping them successfully follow their learning plans
Constructive Behaviour Management: Champion excellent behaviour standards by implementing the school's positive reward frameworks, ensuring pupils remain focused and calm
Milestone Monitoring: Track student participation and academic breakthroughs, delivering valuable feedback to the Class Teacher and SENCO to help guide future lesson planning
Whole-School Supervision: Help manage break times, lunchtime routines, and class day trips to ensure the highest standards of safety and child welfare

Relevant Background: Prior experience guiding children within a school, nursery, childcare center, youth group, or sports coaching environment is preferred
