Job Description:

Randstad Education is urgently seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting excellent schools throughout Sefton. We offer a variety of placements to suit your availability, including immediate day-to-day cover, stable long-term, and full-time opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

Providing essential one-to-one and small group support for pupil learning
Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation and general administration
Helping to manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment
Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where necessary
Supervising children during non-contact times, such as lunch and play

Requirements:

Minimum of six months' paid experience working with Primary-aged children in a UK school setting
OR relevant volunteering experience and qualifications
Flexibility and availability for various types of work, including long-term, full-time, and day-to-day assignments
Possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Full eligibility to work in the UK
