Job Description:

We're delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school community in Crumpsall to start after may half term. If you're passionate about helping children thrive and enjoy learning, this role could be the perfect next step.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the class teacher in creating a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment where all pupils feel valued and motivated
  • Assist with delivering high-quality learning activities that promote progress, curiosity and a love for learning
  • Provide targeted support to pupils, including those with additional needs, helping them stay engaged, focused and confident
  • Help with assessing and tracking pupils' progress by observing learning and feeding back to the class teacher
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents to promote strong home-school partnerships
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and consistently promote the wellbeing of all children.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
  • A warm, positive and supportive approach with strong behaviour-management skills
  • Passionate about primary education and committed to helping pupils thrive
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Two education or school-based references
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
