Job Description:

Primary Teaching Assistant role in Haywards Heath. Support teachers, empower pupils, and create engaging learning experiences. Full-time or part-time term-time contracts. Must complete enhanced DBS check.

Job Responsibility:

Assisting teachers in the delivery of captivating lessons
providing focused, individual, and small-group support to help every student excel in core subjects
cultivating a positive, inclusive, and highly supportive classroom culture
skillfully assisting with behaviour management
providing crucial, specialist support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Requirements:

experience working with children
a caring, patient, and highly encouraging spirit
exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

Nice to have:

CACHE level 1 or 2
CACHE level 2 or 3
early childhood studies degree
health and social care experience
health and social care qualifications (NVQ)
