Job Description:

Urgent: Primary Teaching Assistant. Location: Horley. Start Date: Post-Half Term. End Date: Easter Break. Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday (Full-Time). Pay: Competitive, based on experience. Randstad Education is seeking an experienced and proactive Primary Teaching Assistant for an immediate vacancy at Primary School in the north of Horley. This is a critical role requiring a dedicated professional to provide stability and support for our pupils through to the Easter holidays.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to support academic and emotional progress
  • Implementing classroom strategies to ensure an inclusive and focused learning environment
  • Assisting with the preparation of resources and classroom management
  • Adhering to the school's safeguarding and child protection policies at all times

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
  • Availability: Must be able to commit to 5 days a week (08:30 - 15:30) for the full duration of the contract
  • Transport: A driver's licence and access to a vehicle are highly preferred to ensure reliable travel to the north end of Horley
  • DBS: Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to process one immediately)
  • Skills: A nurturing approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a new school environment quickly
