Job Description

We are seeking friendly, energetic Primary Teaching Assistants to join our East Grinstead supply team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across various local Primary schools, supporting children from EYFS through to Year 6 in the heart of West Sussex.

Job Responsibility

Assisting the teacher with lesson setup and helping pupils stay on task
Supporting small groups with reading, writing, and phonics (KS1) or numeracy and literacy (KS2)
Helping younger children learn through play and develop their social skills
Providing a supportive environment and helping with lunchtime or playground supervision

Requirements

Previous experience working with children (schools, nurseries, sports coaching, or youth groups)
Energy: someone who is proactive, approachable, and ready to get stuck in
A good standard of English and Maths to support Primary-aged learners
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one)
