Job Description:

An 'Outstanding' Primary School in the Borough of Islington is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2025. The role includes supporting students aged 4-11 years in and out of the classroom, especially those with SEND/SEMH needs. Candidates with previous experience and a strong passion for working with children are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibility:

Working with children aged 4-11 years in and out of the classroom
supporting students with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
focusing on Phonics and Reading
helping class teachers to deliver lesson material and meet academic targets

Requirements:

Strong academics across the board
desire to work with children of all ages and abilities
previous experience working with children and SEND/SEMH needs
confidence and motivation
