Job Description:

Randstad Education is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to support diverse school communities across Crawley. This position provides the freedom to choose between full-time or part-time hours during the academic year.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partnering with teachers to deliver lessons and coordinate classroom activities
  • Providing bespoke academic assistance to individual pupils or small groups
  • Applying proactive behavioural management to ensure the classroom remains orderly and productive
  • Supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to help them engage fully with the curriculum
  • Promoting an inclusive, friendly, and nurturing atmosphere for all pupils
  • Participating in staff meetings, school events, and collaborative planning

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working within a primary school or childcare setting
  • A deep-seated commitment to safeguarding and student well-being
  • Relevant educational or childcare qualifications are advantageous, though not essential
