Primary Teaching Assistant | Horsham, West Sussex Are you a passionate and dedicated individual looking to support the learning and development of primary school students? Randstad Education is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to work in excellent schools across Horsham, West Sussex. About the Role As a key member of the school community, you'll work alongside experienced teachers to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment. Your role will involve providing crucial support to pupils through one-on-one assistance, small group guidance, and helping with various classroom activities. This is a full-time, term-time-only position with a competitive salary based on your experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
  • Provide targeted assistance to students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Help manage the classroom and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Prepare teaching materials and resources

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children, ideally in a primary school
  • A patient, caring, and supportive approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (an enhanced DBS check is required)
  • 121 teaching experience
