Job Description:

Randstad Education is looking for Primary Teaching Assistants to join our partner schools in Crawley. This is a fulfilling role where you can play a vital part in a child's educational success and daily well-being.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting the Lead Teacher in the delivery of engaging, creative lessons
  • Providing focused attention to pupils who require extra help
  • Supporting students with diverse learning requirements (SEN)
  • Preparing learning resources
  • Ensuring the classroom remains organized and welcoming

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in working with children (primary school experience is a major plus)
  • A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to student support
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Dedicated focus on child safety
  • An enhanced DBS check is a requirement
  • Background in youth work
  • Behaviour management
  • Classroom management
  • Experience with autism spectrum disorders
  • Experience with learning difficulties
  • Experience with social emotional mental health

Nice to have:

  • CACHE level 1 or 2
  • CACHE level 2 or 3
  • Early childhood studies degree
  • Health and social care experience
  • Health and social care qualifications (NVQ)
