Whether you are an experienced HLTA, a newly qualified support assistant, or a graduate looking for classroom experience before your PGCE, we have the work for you.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting the Class Teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)
Working 1:1 or in small groups with children who require extra support (including SEN and EAL)
Managing behaviour effectively and creating a positive learning environment
Assisting with classroom preparation and resource management
Building rapport quickly with staff and students to ensure continuity of learning

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a primary school setting (voluntary or paid) is essential
CACHE Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or degree equivalent) is desirable but not essential if you have strong experience
Must be proactive, flexible, and willing to travel to different schools within the Leeds area
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) and two professional references
