Job Description:

Primary Teaching Assistant - Crawley, West Sussex. In this position, you will be a cornerstone of the classroom, working hand-in-hand with teachers to foster an inclusive and vibrant learning space.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering creative lessons alongside the Lead Teacher
Leading small group sessions or providing 1:1 support for pupils who need an extra boost
Assisting children with Special Educational Needs to ensure they remain engaged and supported
Helping to prepare teaching materials and maintaining an organised, positive environment

Requirements:

Previous work with children
a patient, nurturing, and adaptable personality
strong communication and the ability to work effectively within a team
a firm commitment to safeguarding
an enhanced DBS check is mandatory

Nice to have:

CACHE level 1 or 2
CACHE level 2 or 3
early childhood studies degree
health and social care experience
health and social care qualifications (NVQ)
HLTA
