Job Description:

An ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in Westminster is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team starting September 2025. This is a Long-Term, Full-Time role supporting students in and out of lessons, focusing heavily on SEND/SEMH needs, including autism and ADHD.

Job Responsibility:

Working with children aged 4-11 years in and out of the classroom
supporting students with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis, focusing on Phonics and Reading
helping class teachers deliver lesson material and meet academic targets

Requirements:

A graduate with strong academics across the board
a desire to work with children of all ages and abilities
previous experience working with children and SEND/SEMH needs
a confident and motivated individual looking to get stuck in from the start

Nice to have:

Prior SEND experience
experience with ASD and ADHD
familiarity with Phonics and Reading
