Job Description

Primary Teaching Assistant role in Cambridge. Salary £89 - £100 per day, PAYE, Referral Bonus. Full-time contract. Start immediate/next term. Support EYFS, KS1, KS2 settings. Lead small group interventions, assist with classroom management and pupil development.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead small group interventions in core subjects like English and Maths
  • Assist teacher in preparing resources, creating displays, managing classroom behaviour
  • Support social and emotional development of students
  • Work with Class Teacher to track pupil progress and ensure safe, inclusive learning environment

Requirements

  • Proactive & energetic
  • Have relevant experience in school, youth club, coaching, or mentoring young people
  • Academically confident with strong grasp of primary curriculum
  • Hold enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
  • Committed to safeguarding and child welfare
