We are seeking dedicated Classroom Support Assistants to work within EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings. This role is ideal for those passionate about primary education, literacy, and community building. You will support the Class Teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and ensuring no child is left behind.
Job Responsibility
Work across the whole class, leading small groups in phonics, reading, or maths to boost confidence and attainment
Lead "breakout" sessions to support pupils who need an extra boost in core subjects like English and Maths
Assist the teacher in preparing resources, creating displays, and managing classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning atmosphere
Assist with the social and emotional development of students, helping them build resilience and teamwork skills
Work closely with the Class Teacher to track pupil progress and ensure a safe, inclusive, and high-energy learning environment
Requirements
Are Proactive & Energetic: You see what needs to be done and jump in to help, whether it's setting up a science experiment or mediating a playground dispute
Have Relevant Experience: This could be from a school, youth club, coaching, or any setting where you have mentored or led young people
Are Academically Confident: You have a strong grasp of the primary curriculum and the ability to explain concepts in a way that "clicks" for children
Are Committed: You hold an enhanced DBS (or are willing to apply) and are 100% dedicated to Safeguarding and child welfare
