Job Description:

Primary Teaching Assistant – EYFS / KS1 / KS2. EdEx are currently working with a long-standing client primary school in the Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, to find a vibrant and engaging Teaching Assistant to join their team! This diverse primary school is currently looking for a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join their team supporting pupils within EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) KS1, KS2 as well as pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs).

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide general support to pupils with their education
  • Provide targeted 1:1 support to pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, Global Delay and Down Syndrome
  • Assist with the management of the class
  • Carry out interventions
  • Deliver programmes tailored to children’s needs
  • Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 with SEN & behavioural requirements
  • Work with groups of children to carry out valuable interventions
  • Use creativity and compassion to excite and educate the pupils

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children
  • A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish within
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities
  • A genuine passion for education
