Job Description:

EdEx are currently working with a long-standing client primary school in the Borough of Lewisham, to find a vibrant and engaging Teaching Assistant to join their team! This diverse primary school is currently looking for a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join their team supporting pupils within EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) KS1, KS2 as well as pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs). Job Responsibility:

Provide general support to pupils with their education
Provide targeted 1:1 support to pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, Global Delay and Down Syndrome
Assist with the management of the class
Carry out interventions
Deliver programmes tailored to children’s needs
Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 with SEN & behavioural requirements
Work with groups of children to carry out valuable interventions
Use creativity and compassion to excite and educate the pupils

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children
A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish within
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities
A genuine passion for education
