Job Description:

We are looking for caring and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our primary school teams across Chester. If you are passionate about helping young children grow and learn, this is the perfect opportunity to start a rewarding new chapter in January 2026. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you play a vital role in a child's early education. You will work alongside teachers to create a fun, safe, and organised learning environment. Your day will involve helping young children (ages 4-11) develop essential skills in reading, writing, and social interaction.

Job Responsibility:

Leading small reading or phonics groups to improve literacy
Helping children with basic maths and counting activities
Setting up creative classroom displays and learning materials
Supervising children during play to ensure they stay safe
Helping children learn how to play and share together
Helping the teacher manage classroom behaviour in a positive way
Following all safeguarding rules to protect the children in your care

Requirements:
