Job Description:

Primary Teaching Assistant - Randstad Education. Are you passionate about education and want to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? Randstad Education is partnering with outstanding schools across West Sussex to find talented Primary Teaching Assistants. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be crucial in supporting the development of primary school students. Working with dedicated teachers, you will help create a fun and inclusive classroom where every child can flourish. Your support, whether assisting with activities, helping one-on-one, or guiding small groups, will be key to student success.

Job Responsibility:

Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need it
Help with classroom management to keep a positive learning atmosphere
Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required
Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources
Contribute to school activities, events, and parent meetings

Requirements:

Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school
A patient, caring, and encouraging approach to young learners
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are a plus but not essential
A commitment to safeguarding children (an enhanced DBS check is required)
